Hello fellow ninja lovers!
It has been some time since the last update, but we have made some headway on the Circle of Ninja project.
First off, we are pleased to announce that the Hunt for Hiroshi short film has been officially selected to screen at this year’s Hollyshorts film festival on August 15th, 10pm at TCL Chinese 6 theatres in Hollywood.
It’s one of only 6 films representing the action category, so we are very happy to have been included.
In feature film news, Resilient Pictures are in the process of securing rights to a new screenplay written by a credited New York writer, whom is also in the process of penning the Circle of Ninja screenplay. The treatment has been established, and we are very happy with the direction of this adaptation. Having gone over thousands of your survey results, this has certainly aided in the type of story being expressed, whilst remaining true to the tone of the short film.
Expect some updates to the website going forward as we unveil new character bios, synopsis and other materials that will introduce you to the new world of Circle of Ninja.
Sam Gosper has joined the final round of the 2017 Lexus short film fellowship, 1 of only 20 finalists.
“It’s incalculable, what that funding would do for the film…the possibility of my short film premiering at the Sydney Film Festival honestly, it’s quite humbling. Just the idea of having my idea be accepted into the Lexus Fellowship is rewarding in itself” – Sam Gosper
“one of the most impressive spectacle shorts you will ever see.”
